Enterprise Ilkos d.o.o. was created in 2006 by the merger of company Ilirija d.d. Trade and business, Candle company Milena Kostanjevec s.p. by combining rounded full production and sale of funeral, decorative and fragrant candles. In our work, we cooperate with domestic and foreign partners to exchange knowledge and experience.

Ilirija d.d. Candle company has a tradition since 1923, when Mr. Ivan Rozman in the company Golog & Ko introduced the production of candles. In 1991 the candel asortiment was moved by Ilirija d.d. from Ljubljana to a new factory in Lendava. Candle manafacturing activity in Ilirija continuously held until 2006, when the program moved to a newly created firm Ilkos d.o.o. Ilirija in its long history of candle manafacturing cooperated with a number of important customers, such as the Swedish IKEA and acquired a number of awards for the quality. Candles manufactured under the brand name Ilirija Light is visible above the market for high quality.

Pioneering firms operating system Candle company Milena Kostanjevec s.p. dates back to 1995, where it was known 10 years as the manufacturer of funeral, decorative and fragrant candles. The company was considered to be the leading manufacturer and seller of candles at the funeral home market.

Because of the fire in 2003, we built a modern manufacturing and storage facility for the smooth production process of manufacture of candles in 2004.

Our company has the leading position due to the the intensive development and improvements to existing products, taking into account new trends, expanding to foreign markets, at home. Because we feel that the pooling of resources of power and allowing a long-term performance of small companies, namely the growing and open markets, we have in our company adopted a new strategic decisions and offline businesses Ilirija d.d.
